Who we are. Day One Toolkit is a UK business run by its two founders, Greg and Dan, selling digital business templates. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: the email address shown on this site's footer and on every purchase receipt.
If you request the free one-page business plan, we collect your email address. The download is delivered immediately on the page. We will only send you emails about new templates and updates if you ticked the optional updates box; the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time — every update email will include an unsubscribe route, or you can simply email us at hello@dayonetoolkit.com.
If you buy a product, the checkout is operated by Gumroad, which processes your payment and order details under its own privacy policy; we see your email address and what you bought so we can provide support and updates.
Our email form is run by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which stores your email address on our behalf; recognised safeguards such as the UK Addendum or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework apply to any processing outside the UK. If we later use a separate email service to send updates, it will act as a processor on the same basis.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It is cookie-free and does not track or identify individual visitors, which is why you see no cookie banner on this site.
Until you unsubscribe, or until we delete inactive addresses, whichever is sooner. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to or restrict our use of it, and complain to us or to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email us and we will respond within one month.
